About Candice

Candice De Waal is a Maya Couture Brand Ambassador with a deep love for horses and the sport of equestrian. At 36, she competes across Showjumping and Dressage with a wonderful string of horses, and has exciting things on the horizon with foals due at the end of the year.

🏆 Highlights

Building my relationship with Evita and earning our doubts for the 1.20s. Being chosen for the 1.10 Gauteng team and helping them bring home gold at SA Champs.

🎯 2026 Goals

Bring Alasca on slowly and correctly, building her up to hopefully do a 1.20 by the end of the year along with some showing and dressage. Socks and Evita are baking babies — both are due towards the end of the year!
